About me
I'm Yifan Lee
A full stack developer in Johor, Malaysia. I build AI automations and business systems that handle the repetitive work, with a human reviewing the results.
Who am I?
I'm Yifan Lee, a full stack developer based in Johor, Malaysia. I build AI automations and business systems that take over repetitive work, so people can spend their time on decisions that matter. I currently work as a Full Stack Developer at NewPages Network, and I'm open to full-time roles, freelance projects and forward-deployed engineer positions.
What do I do?
I design and ship AI pipelines and agents, and the backend systems around them. That includes an AI product-upload pipeline, an AI website QA checker, competitor-research automation for SEO, GEO and AEO reports, and internal tools like a reward shop and an AI resource library. A human reviews the output before anything goes live.
What technologies do I work with?
On the backend I use PHP, Laravel, Python, FastAPI, MariaDB and MySQL, with JavaScript on the front end. For AI work I use Codex, OpenClaw, CLIProxyAPI and agentic browsers, always with a human-in-the-loop review step.
How do I think about AI?
Writing code is the easy part now. The real work is making sure it's reliable and secure. I use AI for the jobs that take the most time, repeat every day, or are easy to get wrong by hand, so people can focus on the decisions that matter.
Can we work together?
Yes. I'm open to full-time AI or full-stack roles, forward-deployed engineer positions, and freelance projects. If you have a repetitive process eating your team's time, or you want AI built into your own workflow, I'm happy to talk. The quickest way to reach me is by email at yifanisme19@gmail.com.
Can I help enterprises and individuals integrate AI into their workflow?
Yes. I start by mapping your current process and finding the steps AI can safely take over, then I pick the right tools, build and deploy the automation, and keep a human review step before anything goes live. I work this way with companies and with individuals, as a freelancer or embedded in your team.
Do I work as a forward-deployed engineer?
I'm open to forward-deployed engineer roles. That means working directly inside a customer's team, learning their real workflow, and turning AI tools into something that runs in production. It's how I already work on internal projects: I sit with the people doing the job, then build, deploy and maintain the system around them.
